Bart is a beautiful shepherd mix and looking for his forever person to bond with and guard and protect! Bart, starving and desperate for food, was trapped at a known site for dog dumping. Which we will NEVER understand. How can you just dump your dog and leave them wondering if you’ll ever come back. So cruel. 

He was successfully trapped and brought to the shelter and just ran out of time. With his number coming up, he was pulled by an organization that Castaways works with quite a bit to help save dogs from euthanasia. Bart will literally give you a hug! Loves car rides and would make a great adventurous dog. But being part shepherd, he also knows when it is time to rest and just chill out in front of the TV. He is incredibly smart and responds well to training (as long as you give him a treat every once and while!). He would make a great addition to any family.
